Other Local Environmental Law Societies
- UCLA Environmental Law Society, Maya Kuttan, pres
- Southwestern Law School Environmental Law Club:
- USC Environmental Law Society
- Others: any volunteers to be liaison with other local ELSs such as USC, Pepperdine, Whittier?
- We are also a member of the National Association of Environmental Law Societies (NAELS). Daniel Freeedman, one of our board members, is the regional representative of NAELS.
It might be worthwhile to set up a Association of Greater Los Angeles Environmental Law Societies (AGLAELS). The purpose would be to encourage networking and connections among the memberships of the ELSs, and to maintain a common listing of environmental-law events.
